Scarlet Elisabeth Sheppard grew up in Parkersburg, West Virginia: a cozy small town on the Ohio River. After training as a ballet dancer for many years, and at the height of a serious awkward phase, she somehow nabbed the lead in a school play (opposite that boy in the photo!) It was an "a-ha moment." She hung up her pointe shoes and promptly became the biggest drama club nerd to ever exist.
Scarlet went on to accumulate favorite theatre credits in Our Town (Emily,) The Tempest (Ariel,) Romeo and Juliet (Juliet,) Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy,) All My Sons (Ann) and, most recently, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Little Voice.) After graduating with honors from the School of Performing Arts at Columbia College Chicago, she made the big move to Los Angeles and hit the ground running. Here, she's appeared in various film, commercial and internet projects. She is also the creator of Karmic: a female-centric web series comedy now available on YouTube!
When she's not shooting or auditioning, Scarlet spends her time video editing, performing as Disney princesses at birthday parties, dancing to
embarrassing fantastic music and eating all of the hors d'ouvres at your classy event.
